A lot is happening in Rosie’s garden of life.

Hello from the hub!

April saw the Wrexham Carnival of Words event which aimed to bring readers and writers of all ages together in a wide-ranging series of activities and workshops. I enjoyed the Local Author Networking event in Wrexham Library, which was followed by World Book Night presentations for children's writing. A lovely relaxed evening with old and new connections.

I have recently joined the Virtual-Wrexham High Street. This is the brainchild of Gareth Hatton of Wrexham Businessline. http://www.virtual-wrexham.co.uk  I love the photo of the heart of Wrexham on the home page. You will find me in the Arts and Crafts/Home and Leisure section.
When you enter my 'shop' you will be taken straight to my bookstore where you can purchase what you want, how you want and from whom you want. All links are there for print and multiple e-Book formats across the globe.Take a tour around the site while you are there do! There are photos and videos in my gallery.

May Events: Book Launch, Zip Wire and CalonFM

May 7th Allan Parrington of the Golden Lion, Rossett, Wrexham is hosting a book launch for The Long Leg of Italy on Thursday May 7th at 1pm-4pm. See flyer attached. It would be lovely to see you there. 10% of any sales will go to local fundraising – The Catrin Pugh Recovery Fund. ( A local girl who was in a coma for six months after an accident and is
now walking again.
Other titles will be available including limited stocks of the now out-of-print first edition of award-winning Just Us Two: Ned and Rosie's Gold Wing Discovery, complete with award seal.

May 9th. I am celebrating seventy years of life by flying off a mountain at Bethesda, Bangor, North Wales  on the longest zip wire in Europe. It will take me and about twenty-six others over Penrhyn Quarry for about a mile at up to 100mph. (A bit like bombing down the motorway really!) This is for the Dreamflight Children’s Charity who take very sick and disabled children to Florida on the holiday of a lifetime – without their parents. It may be their last one. If you have already sponsored me, please ignore the next bit and I know that many people have designated charities and  appreciate that. If you can  sponsor for just £1 that would be great. It would help to You can text LLGW80 to 70070  (free text) or go to http://www.justgiving.com/Rosalie-Marsh-Author The site is secure and you can make your amount and name  anonymous. More information at http://www.discover-rosalie.blogspot.co.uk/p/i-am-taking-will-lewis-zip-world.html  Our Gold Wing region of GWOCGB -Lancs and Lakes GoldWings - are supporting this as part of their charity
activities.

If you are in the area and come along to cheer us all on, that would be great. N.B. if coming from the north, when you leave the A55 at J.11 turn off your Sat Nav and follow the directions above. See http://www.zipworld.co.uk/how-to-find-us/  (Zip World Velocity)

Watch out for photos on here after the event.

May 11th  I am a guest on  Something Completely Different with Heather Noble on CalonFM  http://www.calonfm.com/105fm/?page_id=21821 The show starts at 11am and I will be chatting to heather about my Zip Wire adventure and The Long Leg of Italy. If you are not free at 11am you can listen again later.

Then I might draw breath but I am waiting for details of the Wrexham Street Festival – a new venture.

I think that my brain sprouts ideas as fast as the plants in the garden are growing!
