What is new is Rosie's Garden?

Exciting times ahead!
We have been keen to have titles (books) in as many formats as possible. So Kindle with Amazon, *pdf with Adobe Digital Editions  from e-retailers worldwide and e-Pub through Smashwords.com direct  who also have shipped to Apple, Sony, Kobo, Diesel ebooks, and Nook.  Mark Coker of Smashwords recently announced that they had signed up with Baker & Taylor for e-books on Blio. (Download here for Windows, Android and iPad) It is interactive with flippable pages. The site says:
"Blio is the world's most advanced, flexible and engaging e-reader software application. Built on state-of-the-art video gaming
technology, this three-dimensional, interactive application brings e-books to life." (btol.com)
All current titles have been shipped and are filtering through. Lifelong Learning: A View from the Coal Face has already docked so to speak. The net widens!

I was excited to get my hands on the proof of the new edition of Just Us Two:Ned and Rosie's Gold Wing Discovery. Looking Good! New vibrant front cover, format and lower price. We have incorporated the IBA Winner seal into the cover.
Award-winning first edition.
I still have a small stock of the first edition with the award seal for a bargain price of £5.00 plus p+p while my author stocks last. So if you want a copy  signed and dedicated to someone, contact me through the contact page on http://www.discover-rosalie.com/Shopping_Contact_html.html  This is a limited special offer. Just mention 'Rosalie's Chatter offer'. To match this I can offer Chasing Rainbows:with Just Us Two at the same price plus p+p. Fathers Day present?
I popped onto Amazon at the weekend and was chuffed to see Just Us Two, not only in the sales rankings but up there in the top 100. #87 in Books > Travel & Holiday > Europe > Ireland #89 in Books > Biography > Cultural History > Irish Just Us Two!!! Of course this changed  frequently.

The new edition of Just Us Two:Ned and Rosie's Gold Wing Discovery is the same award-winning hilarious, at times a hair-raising adventure. Pre-order now at your local bookstore or on-line worldwide. Release date May 1st.

Skills for Employability Part One:Pre-Employment will be released on May 17th. An essential tool in the quest for employment and a better future. I saw that this was already in the Amazon sales rankings. Pre-order from your local bookstore or on-line worldwide.

Again, both titles will be in e-book formats: Kindle,PDF for Adobe Digital Editions and e_Pub.

Time to go back to planting and nurturing in 'the garden' of Rosie's books.

Travel and Personal Development and Music - More Skills for Life

When I wrote my last posting, I was so full of the life-saving techniques we had learned that I forgot to mention the wonderful concert we had attended the night before at the William Aston Hall, Glyndwr Uni. Wrexham.
I have been attending concerts there for a good number of years, firstly to hear our daughter play the clarinet in the Wrexham Schools Junior Band where she was leader, Senior and County Bands ( and to chauffeur etc. - of course!) and for the last ten years to see our eldest grandson develop in the Junior Orchestra through to Senior Orchestra,  North Wales Youth Orchestra and 2nd Violin in the  Wrexham Symphony Orchestra (WSO)(and to chauffeur sometimes - of course!). This last concert by the WSO consisted of a very fairly gentle piece followed by a very long, fast and furious one. ( Next concert Saturday May 5th.) We were amazed at the stamina and technique of the players whose ages range from young adults to more senior  and experienced ones. It is wonderful to see how the music service in Wrexham and North Wales has developed over the last 30 + years. Money well spent! James also plays guitar(s) and sings vocals in a band - Rooza- which is a complete contrast. He has also just achieved his Grade 8 Violin exam and we are so proud of his dedication and humorous love of life. All grown up now! (Sniff! sniff! where did that little boy go to?)

Now to this week.
I attended the North Wales WiRE Networking meeting on Monday. I had been named Business of the Week  and was asked to be the Speaker. here is a varied mix of business ladies and I tried to entertain them with tales of our travel escapades.  I sandwiched this in-between my other passion of personal development - a subject close to my heart - as I believe that these personal experiences contribute to professional development. The new Skills for Employability books also came into focus with the first one Pre-Employment being release on May 17th. I delayed this by a couple of weeks as the second edition of award-winning Just Us Two: Ned and Rosie's Gold Wing Discovery is coming out on May 1st.

Last Saturday I exhibited at the Spring Craft and Food Fair in aid of the National Osteoporosis Society. The organisation was exemplary and well- attended with a huge range of stalls.

Lots to do at present so, that's all for now. Back to the drawing board so to speak! No time to grow old!
